Responsibilities
Design, construct, and maintain scalable, high-performance data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes on AWS.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and analyze current business needs.
Implement data warehousing solutions while ensuring best practices for data structure and organization.
Use analytics tools to create dashboards and reports for diverse stakeholders.
Optimize cloud-based architectures, focusing on high availability and fault tolerance.
Monitor data infrastructure usage, troubleshoot issues, and ensure security compliance.
Drive continuous improvement in the data lifecycle processes and identify avenues for innovation.
Requirements
Minimum 7 years of experience in data engineering or analytics roles.
Hands-on expertise with Amazon Web Services (AWS) such as S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, Athena, and EMR.
Proficiency in data processing frameworks like Apache Spark or Hadoop
Solid programming experience in Python, Scala, or Java
Familiarity with SQL and relational/non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Knowledge of data warehouse architecture and BI systems.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in diverse, cross-functional teams.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
