Senior Data Scientist-Python (5+ Years)- Bangalore
Here is an exciting opportunity for the position of senior Data scientist Python expertised in Python programming along with experience of data wrangling, data modeling, statistical modeling, machine learning such as GLM, GBM would be required. Expertise in Model deployment SQL, Excel and VBA are the skills which will work as an add on advantage. A person with the actuarial background would be plus for this position.

Roles & Responsibilities :-
• Expertise with a programing language such as Python / R preferred; SAS is a plus)
• Expertise in data wrangling and data preparation for modeling.
• Expertise in statistical model building and machine learning (GLM, GBM / XGBoost, RF, etc.)
• Expertise in model deployment / implementation methods.
• Proficiency with SQL and Excel/VBA
Requirements:-
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills & analytical skills
• Outstanding ability to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
• Knowledge of Commercial Insurance Products & UW process (WC, Property, GL)
• Background in claims analytics is a plus.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree with a major in statistics, data science, or a related quantitative field
