We are looking for a highly motivated Equity Research Analyst with 2–5 years of experience to support in-depth equity research and financial analysis across emerging markets, with a strong focus on Asia and India. The role involves building financial models, generating investment ideas, and delivering actionable insights to support investment decisions.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct detailed equity research on companies across emerging markets, with focus on Asia and India.
2. Analyze financial statements, industry trends, and macroeconomic indicators to identify investment opportunities.
3. Build and maintain robust financial models for forecasting and valuation purposes.
4. Prepare comprehensive research reports and investment recommendations for stakeholders.
5. Track market developments, news, and sector trends impacting investment strategies.
6. Collaborate with portfolio managers and internal teams to discuss research findings and generate ideas.
7. Present research insights and recommendations to internal and external audiences.
8. Maintain and update research databases and analytical tools to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Requirements

1. MBA / Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
2. 2–5 years of experience in equity research or investment research.
3. Strong exposure to financial modeling, valuation, and fundamental analysis.
4. Experience covering emerging markets, preferably Asia and India.
5. Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
6. High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
7. Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial research platforms (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet).
