Sr. Research Analyst/Research Analyst – Fixed Income Valuations – Financial Services– 1 to 5 Years-Mumbai

Responsibilities

1. Valuating Indian debt instruments across corporate bonds, money market instruments, government securities and more.
2. Constructing and reviewing yield curves across issuers, sectors and rating categories.
3. Establishing and maintaining a polling network with key market participants.
4. Polling daily with debt market participants to source pricing information.
5. Sourcing and analyzing trades/pricing data from market platforms and participants.
6. Preparing valuation models using Excel/VBA.
7. Preparing ad-hoc analytical reports for senior management and external stakeholders.
8. Maintaining documentation related to valuations.
9. Assisting in development, testing and maintenance of in-house applications.

Requirements

1. 1–5 years of experience in fixed income research, valuations or related domains.
2. Exposure to Indian debt markets including CP, CD, corporate bonds and government securities.
3. Strong analytical inclination with knowledge of fixed income fundamentals.
4. Ability to build and manage relationships with fund managers, arrangers, PDs, brokers and other market participants.
5. Proficiency in MS Office and working knowledge of VBA.
6. Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance or CA/CFA Level 2/3.
