Lead Specialist – Financial Benefits-8years+ - Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune

Summary –
An exciting opportunity for professionals with 8–12 years of experience in US/Indian healthcare domain to drive financial modelling, forecasting, and actuarial analysis in employee benefits. This role requires strong expertise in applied statistics, insurance, and health benefits, with the ability to deliver strategic insights and support client decision-making.

Location –
India –Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune

Responsibilities –

1. Evaluating and presenting experience reports on client financial status and benefit plan performance.
2. Developing accurate financial forecasts and strategic recommendations for renewal planning.
3. Estimating reserves for IBNR claim liabilities in alignment with actuarial standards.
4. Creating customized financial and performance reports to highlight trends and insights.
5. Supporting account teams and underwriting discussions with data-driven recommendations.

Requirements –

1. 8–12 years of experience in US/Indian healthcare or employee benefits.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, or Applied Mathematics; fully/partially qualified actuary preferred.
3. Strong expertise in health insurance, group insurance funding mechanisms, and regulatory frameworks.
4. Advanced skills in applied statistics, data modelling, and financial forecasting.
5. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to present insights clearly.
