Manager - MSME Consulting & Research (Policy & Advisory) - 5+ Years - Gurgaon / Mumbai

A leadership-driven consulting opportunity for professionals with strong exposure to the MSME ecosystem, government advisory, and strategic program execution. This role involves leading consulting mandates, driving bid management, and delivering data-backed sector insights to institutional clients.

Location: Gurgaon / Mumbai

Your Future Employer: A leading global analytics and advisory organization known for its expertise in MSME sector intelligence, policy advisory, and institutional consulting across financial institutions and development stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead end-to-end bid management and identify strategic opportunities across MSME consulting mandates.
2. Drive project execution including stakeholder coordination, intervention design, and delivery oversight.
3. Track MSME sector developments through data analysis, demand-supply trends, pricing movements, and policy shifts.
4. Conduct sector research, ecosystem assessments, and generate actionable market intelligence for clients.
5. Manage structured client engagements including presentations, advisory discussions, and analytical updates.
6. Build and sustain relationships with financial institutions, industry bodies, policymakers, and ecosystem stakeholders.

Requirements:

1. 5+ years of experience in MSME consulting, public policy advisory, cluster development, or industrial ecosystem projects.
2. Exposure to government/DFI-led programs (RAMP, SIDBI initiatives, World Bank projects, etc.) preferred.
3. Strong experience in bid management, proposal writing, and client engagement.
4. Proven ability to analyse financial/sectoral datasets and derive strategic insights.
5. Strong understanding of MSME ecosystem, regulatory landscape, and sector dynamics.
6. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
