Manager - Private Markets Monitoring - 4+ Years - Mumbai

This role supports investment research and portfolio monitoring in the private markets’ domain. The position involves tracking investment performance, credit monitoring, financial analysis, ESG integration, and stakeholder coordination, with a strong focus on primary research and data-driven insights.

Location - Mumbai.

Responsibilities -

1. Support the Private Credit Research team by updating portfolio data from company reports and maintaining proprietary databases with the latest performance metrics.
2. Analyze existing investments, including financial statements and key performance indicators, to support credit monitoring.
3. Prepare and maintain financial models, cashflows, and analytics for ongoing investments.
4. Assist in the creation of monitoring reports and present observations to fund managers and the research team.
5. Prepare comprehensive credit documentation for semi-annual reviews and database uploads.

Requirements -

1. Strong experience in primary market research and investment monitoring, preferably in private credit, private markets, or structured credit.
2. Solid knowledge of corporate financial structures, valuation methodologies, debt and equity instruments, and credit rating frameworks.
3. Excellent analytical and logical reasoning skills, with strong understanding of financial statements, ratio analysis, and accounting principles.
4. Proficiency in MS Excel (intermediate to advanced) and financial modeling skills.
5. 4-6 years of relevant experience in private credit, private markets, private assets, or structured credit.
6. Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality research outputs.
