 Responsibilities:

1. Evaluate insurance applications, assess risk levels, and determine insurability based on established criteria.

2. Responsible for end-to-end underwriting within the Property & Casualty segment.

3. Analyse application data, reports, and claims history to support accurate risk and pricing decisions.

4. Collaborate with brokers to gather missing details, clarify information, and ensure smooth case handling.

5. Identify potential risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and maintain complete documentation of underwriting decisions.

6. Stay updated on industry trends and maintain strong relationships with brokers and stakeholders to deliver exceptional service.

 Requirements:

1. Requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in P&C insurance underwriting.

2. Strong understanding of risk evaluation, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory documentation standards.

3. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make accurate, informed decisions.

4. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to handle complex cases.

5. Detail-oriented, efficient in managing multiple applications, and proficient with underwriting tools and software.
