​Manufacturing Specialist - Pharmaceuticals/Biotechnology/Clinical Research – 5-11 Yrs - Fall River, Massachusetts  

You will act as a pivotal link between the shop floor and management, overseeing resource allocation, SAP-based procurement, and the resolution of operational bottlenecks. A key focus involves driving continuous improvement and technical compliance, particularly within specialized environments like Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI) packaging.

Work Hours/ Shift: General Shift: 07:00 – 15:30 (may vary based on business needs)

General Shift: 15:00 – 23:30 (may vary based on business needs)

Your Future Employer: 

Engaged in the development, manufacture, marketing, and distribution of generic prescription medicines with emphasis in several therapeutic areas including cardiovascular, anti-infectives, CNS, anti-inflammatory, anti-diabetics, and anti-depressants. Dedicated in providing high-quality branded and generic medicines.    

Responsibilities:   

1.      Production & Resource Orchestration: Coordinate daily packaging activities, workforce allocation, and material flow to ensure production targets are met with minimal downtime.

2.      Compliance & Documentation Management: Monitor all processes for adherence to quality standards, ensuring the meticulous accuracy of batch records, logs, and SOPs.

3.      Deviation & CAPA Investigation: Assist in identifying non-conformances and leading root cause investigations to implement effective Corrective and Preventive Actions.

4.      Procurement & SAP Administration: Manage the full lifecycle of purchase requisitions (PR) for equipment and consumables using SAP, while maintaining strong vendor relationships.

5.      Operational Excellence: Use data analysis to monitor efficiency metrics, identifying opportunities for automation and waste reduction to improve overall productivity.

Requirements:   

1.      Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Production).

2.      Deep Industry Expertise: 5–11 years of experience in pharmaceutical packaging and operations, with a strong preference for Inhalation/MDI product knowledge.

3.      Technical Systems Proficiency: Hands-on experience with SAP systems and packaging data analysis tools for procurement and performance tracking.

4.      Regulatory & Audit Readiness: Comprehensive understanding of cGMP and FDA guidelines, with the ability to participate in and support high-level regulatory audits.

5.      Physical Capability: Must be able to stand/walk for extended shifts, lift up to 50 lbs., and work in a regulated manufacturing environment requiring full PPE.
