This role is a senior-level Packaging Operations Coordinator (or Assistant Manager) focused on harmonizing production schedules with strict regulatory compliance. You will bridge the gap between floor operations and administrative management by overseeing resource allocation, SAP procurement, and continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires a high degree of technical leadership to manage deviations and ensure the seamless delivery of pharmaceutical products, particularly Metered Dose Inhalers (MDIs).

Work Hours/ Shift: Second Shift: 03:00 PM – 11:30 PM (may vary based on business needs)

Engaged in the development, manufacture, marketing, and distribution of generic prescription medicines with emphasis in several therapeutic areas including cardiovascular, anti-infectives, CNS, anti-inflammatory, anti-diabetics, and anti-depressants. Dedicated in providing high-quality branded and generic medicines.    

Responsibilities:   

1.      Production & Resource Coordination: Orchestrate daily packaging activities, equipment usage, and workforce allocation to ensure projects hit production deadlines without bottlenecks.

2.      Compliance & Quality Oversight: Actively monitor packaging lines for 100% adherence to cGMP, FDA, and SOP standards, ensuring the integrity of batch records and logs.

3.      Deviation & CAPA Management: Lead investigations into non-conformances and deviations, collaborating with QA to implement effective Corrective and Preventive Actions.

4.      SAP Procurement & Vendor Relations: Manage the creation of purchase requisitions (PR) in SAP for consumables and equipment while maintaining strategic relationships with suppliers.

5.      Operational Excellence: Drive productivity by analyzing operational metrics (OEE) and implementing automation or process improvements to reduce waste.

 

Requirements:   

1.      Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Mechanical, Electrical, or Production Engineering.

2.      Deep Industry Experience: 5–11 years in pharmaceutical packaging and team management, with a specific preference for Inhalation/MDI products.

3.      Technical SystemsTechnical Systems Mastery: High proficiency in SAP for data analysis and procurement, alongside advanced Microsoft Office skills.

4.      Regulatory &Regulatory & Audit Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of cGMP/GDP and experience participating in local and federal regulatory (FDA) audits.

5.      Physical & Environmental Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment requiring full PPE.
