Pricing Actuary - P&C - 2 to 6 Yrs - Gurgaon, Pune, Bangalore

Collaborate with the Pricing Team to develop pricing strategies and models for our P&C insurance products, with a focus on admitted business. Analyze large datasets to evaluate risks and assess pricing adequacy. Conduct research and perform competitive analysis to stay updated with market trends and regulatory changes. Assist in the development and implementation of pricing programs, including rate reviews and filings. Prepare and present actuarial findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities –

1. Collaborate with the Pricing Team to develop pricing strategies and models for P&C admitted business.

2. Analyze large datasets to evaluate risks, assess pricing adequacy, and calculate indicated rates.

3. Conduct market research, perform competitive analysis, and support rate reviews and filings.

4. Project losses to ultimate using actuarial methodologies, including trending and loss development.

5. Partner with underwriters, product managers, and other teams to align pricing with business goals.

6. Support development of pricing models/tools and monitor pricing performance for improvements.

Requirements –

1. Bachelor’s/Master's degree in engineering, economics, mathematics, actuarial sciences, or statistics.

2. Affiliation with IAI/IFOA; 2–6 CT actuarial exams preferred.

3. 3–5 years of P&C actuarial experience with strong pricing exposure.

4. Experience in filings/filing support with strong analytical and data modeling capabilities.

5. Advanced proficiency in Excel, VBA, SAS, and related tools.

6. Strong communication skills, detail orientation, and ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.
