Responsibilities –

• Conduct secondary research across industries, markets, and competitors using public and proprietary databases.
• Synthesize large volumes of qualitative and quantitative data into concise deliverables including industry briefs, benchmarking reports, company profiles, and trend analyses.
• Partner with business development and client-facing teams to understand research priorities and tailor outputs to strategic objectives.
• Perform data analysis and visualization using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau to highlight patterns and insights.
• Maintain current knowledge of industries, emerging technologies, market movements, and competitive landscapes.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality across all research outputs, adhering to established standards and guidelines.
• Establish QA processes—peer reviews, calibration checks, and data validations—to ensure reliable and high-quality insights.

Requirements –

• 7–11 years of experience in business research, market intelligence, or analytics within consulting, professional services, or research-driven environments.
• Strong expertise in secondary research tools such as Capital IQ, Pitchbook, Statista, Gartner, etc.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel and familiarity with basic statistical analysis and data interpretation.
• Excellent analytical, written, and communication abilities with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to convert complex findings into clear, structured executive summaries.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.

Preferred Skills –

• Prior exposure to consulting research workflows.
• Understanding of industry classification systems and market sizing methodologies.
