Senior Data Engineer – Azure / Databricks – 8+ Years – Gurugram/Noida/Bengaluru (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

1. Designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines using Azure data services.
2. Working extensively with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Databricks for end-to-end data engineering solutions.
3. Developing and optimizing data transformations using PySpark and SQL.
4. Implementing data models following best practices to support analytics and reporting needs.
5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver robust data solutions.
6. Automating deployments and workflows using GitHub Actions.
7. Ensuring data quality, governance, security, and compliance standards are met.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering with strong exposure to Azure data stack.
• Hands-on expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF), Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks.
• Strong experience in PySpark and SQL for large-scale data processing.
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices.
• Experience working with large and complex datasets in production environments.
• Exposure to Generative AI-based development and its integration with data workflows.
• Experience in the Finance domain is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of data governance, compliance frameworks, and Azure Data Lake.
