Senior Manager - Operational Risk Management – 7+ Years – Gurgaon

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager – Operational Risk Management. This role requires 7+ years of experience with strong expertise in end-to-end Operational Risk Management, including risk identification, risk mitigation, RCSA, and control design and testing. The ideal candidate should have proven experience working in the Second Line of Defence, partnering closely with business and first-line teams to strengthen governance and compliance frameworks. Immediate joiners will be preferred.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead end-to-end Operational Risk Management for insurance operations, working as part of the Second Line of Defence to strengthen risk governance and oversight.
2. Conduct RCSA, risk identification, assessment, and control testing across business units to identify and mitigate operational risks.
3. Oversee the design and monitoring of risk controls, KRIs, and mitigation plans to reduce operational risk exposure.
4. Partner with first-line teams, compliance, and internal/external auditors to ensure adherence to regulatory and risk management standards.
5. Prepare and present operational risk reports, insights, and recommendations to senior management, while monitoring emerging risks and updating frameworks accordingly.

Requirements:

1. 7+ years of experience in end-to-end Operational Risk Management, with mandatory exposure to the Second Line of Defence.
2. Strong understanding of operational risk frameworks, RCSA, control testing, KRIs, and regulatory compliance.
3. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide strategic risk insights.
4. Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and first-line teams to strengthen risk governance.
5. Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, with FRM/PRM/ORM as an added advantage.
