Senior Software Engineer _Confluent_Kafka - 5+ Years-Gurugram

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Confluent Platform, Apache Kafka, and event-driven architecture. The role focuses on building and scaling enterprise streaming capabilities, enabling real-time data integration, and supporting the adoption of event-driven architecture across the organization. The ideal candidate will work in a collaborative Agile environment to design, develop, and optimize high-performance streaming applications and data pipelines.

Location – Noida/Gurugram/Pune/Bangalore

Responsibilities –

1. Design, develop, test, and deploy event-driven services and streaming data pipelines using the Confluent Platform.

2. Develop Kafka topics, schemas, and streaming applications using Kafka, Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, and Apache Flink.

3. Collaborate with architecture and platform teams to define and implement enterprise event streaming strategies.

4. Review and improve streaming applications to ensure quality, scalability, and adherence to best practices.

5. Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and promote governance and reusable streaming patterns.

Requirements –

1. 6+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience with Confluent Platform or Apache Kafka.

2. Strong experience designing distributed streaming applications and event-driven architecture solutions.

3. Experience working with message schemas such as Avro, JSON, or Protobuf along with Schema Registry.

4. Experience integrating streaming platforms with SQL/NoSQL databases, APIs, and cloud data platforms.

5. Proficiency in Git, Jira, Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
