Sr. Python Test Auromation Developer_5+years_Gurugram

Our growing team is looking for a Senior Test Automation Developer who will be responsible for carrying out various software testing activities with a high degree of autonomy. In this role, you will plan and perform system functional and acceptance tests for strategic, regional, or national projects of high complexity. You will also contribute to improving systems, workflows, and profitability through detailed software testing and analysis while working across multiple business systems. The role also involves taking ownership of at least one strategic application.

Responsibilities –

1. Assist the Test Lead in designing test plans, strategies, and quality control procedures.

2. Develop and execute automated software tests and manage test execution processes.

3. Support testing activities and collaborate with Agile/Project teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

4. Review and analyze test plans and test cases to ensure alignment with business objectives, system architecture, and application user journeys.

5. Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and developers while participating in walkthroughs, demos, and estimation sessions.

6. Develop end-to-end full stack automation scripts for strategic applications.

7. Build high-quality reusable automated test cases and identify reusable automation components.

8. Define branching strategies and perform code reviews.

Requirements –

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

2. 5+ years of experience in a senior testing or automation role.

3. Experience with Agile and test management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Zephyr.

4. Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows.

5. Experience in full-stack testing frameworks using Python and JavaScript such as FastAPI, Pytest, React, and Playwright.

6. Experience with cloud technologies, specifically AWS, is an added advantage.
