Responsibilities

As a Senior Test Engineer, your key responsibilities will include: 

• Developing and implementing comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases for software solutions. 
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify potential risks and ensure defect-free software. 
• Conducting functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure software quality. 
• Leveraging automated testing tools to enhance efficiency while reducing manual intervention. Analyzing test results, preparing detailed reports, and working closely with developers to resolve issues. 
• Continuously improving the testing processes and frameworks by keeping up-to-date with industry trends and best practices. 
• Coaching and mentoring junior testers, promoting a culture of quality, teamwork, and innovation. 

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have: 

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 
• 5–8 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or related domains. 
• Proficiency in testing methodologies, tools (like Selenium, JIRA, or equivalent), and programming languages (like Python, Java, or C#). 
• Solid understanding of Agile and DevOps principles. 
• Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills. 
• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, with a knack for problem-solving and critical thinking. 
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
