Sr Business Analyst – Product Owner – 5+ Years – PAN India

We are hiring a Sr Business Analyst – Associate Product Owner for a leading global analytics organization. The role involves partnering with business and technology stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable data products, driving governance, analytics adoption, and value-led delivery in an agile environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Gather and analyze business requirements in collaboration with business users, data architects, and engineering teams.
2. Translate business needs into data product requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
3. Support the Data Product Owner in discovery, intake, prioritization, delivery, and adoption of data products.
4. Lead backlog refinement, product advisory sessions, and stakeholder discussions when required.
5. Create and maintain documentation including process flows, roadmaps, and specifications.
6. Manage Jira user stories, acceptance criteria, UAT, and delivery tracking.
7. Demonstrate technical understanding of APIs, data pipelines, integrations, and dependencies.
8. Analyze product usage and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

Requirements:

1. 3–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in data, analytics, or product environments.
2. Exposure to data product ownership and agile delivery frameworks.
3. Strong experience with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Visio, Git, and MS Office tools.
4. Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
5. Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
6. Understanding of APIs, data pipelines, and system integrations.
7. Experience in asset management or investment industry is an added advantage.
