Azure Data Lake Administrator - 6+ Years - Bangalore / Gurgaon (Hybrid)
 
Summary
We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Lake Administrator to manage, secure, and monitor enterprise-scale data platforms on Microsoft Azure. The role focuses on administering Azure Data Lake environments, ensuring data security, governance, and platform stability, while working closely with data engineering and platform teams in a cloud-first ecosystem.

Responsibilities
 
  • Administer and manage Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2) environments.
  • Perform day-to-day Azure administration, monitoring, and operational support.
  • Manage Azure Active Directory (AAD), RBAC, ACLs, and access permissions.
  • Configure and maintain Azure Key Vault for secrets and credentials.
  • Implement and support CI/CD pipelines for platform operations.
  • Monitor system performance and logs using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
  • Ensure compliance with data security and governance standards.
  • Perform SQL-based data validation and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with data engineering, cloud, and application teams.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in Azure administration / Data Lake administration roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2).
  • Experience with Azure Active Directory, RBAC, ACLs, Key Vault, CI/CD.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics. •
  • Good understanding of data security and governance concepts. •
  • Strong SQL skills for data validation and troubleshooting.
Good to Have:
  • Exposure to Azure Synapse / Databricks / Azure Data Factory.
  • Knowledge of Python and Big Data concepts.
