Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions with expertise in Cloudflare. 
• Develop strategies to secure web applications against security threats like SQL injections, cross-site scripting, and DDoS attacks. 
• Identify vulnerabilities and proactively implement security patches or enhancements. 
• Collaborate with the development team to integrate security best practices and compliance requirements. 
• Monitor application traffic and address any anomalies or cybersecurity risks. 
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members to enhance organizational expertise in WAF technologies. 
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and implement necessary adjustments to WAF solutions. 

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in WAF solution design and implementation. 
• Proficiency in Cloudflare WAF and strong understanding of web application security. 
• Expertise in identifying and mitigating cybersecurity threats, including hands-on experience with DDoS, SQL injections, and XSS. 
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. 
• Knowledge of compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or ISO27001 is a plus. 
• Excellent communication skills to convey security strategies effectively to various stakeholders. 
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
