Consultant - Fund Accounting - 2+ Years – Gurgaon

Location:- Gurgaon

Your Future Employer:- A globally recognized financial services organization specializing in Fund Accounting & Administration for Private Equity, Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), and institutional investors. The firm partners with leading global asset managers and provides end-to-end accounting, compliance, and investor servicing solutions across jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS / US GAAP / UK GAAP.
2. Perform NAV calculation, trade processing, corporate actions, and security valuation.
3. Manage cash reconciliation, daily cash monitoring, accruals, expense validation, and transaction reconciliation.
4. Record accurate double-entry bookkeeping transactions and maintain accounting records.
5. Compute management fees, performance fees, carried interest, and support MIS/board reporting.
6. Prepare and distribute capital call and distribution notices, including waterfall and clawback calculations.
7. Calculate IRR at fund and investor level while addressing client and investor queries within defined SLAs.

Requirements

1. 2+ years of relevant experience in Fund Accounting / Investment Accounting / Fund Administration
2. Exposure to Private Equity / Hedge Funds / AIF structures preferred
3. Strong understanding of NAV, capital calls, waterfall models, and fee calculations
4. Knowledge of IFRS / US GAAP
5. B.Com / BBA / BMS / BFI (ACCA / CFA / CPA / CMA pursuing preferred)
6. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
7. Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
