We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – IFRS 17 Reporting Accountant to join a dynamic and progressive team. The ideal candidate should be a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3+ years of relevant experience and hands-on exposure to IFRS 17. The role requires strong expertise in end-to-end accounting, IFRS 17 implementation and reporting, and financial reporting, along with a solid understanding of IFRS standards and regulatory compliance. Candidates with a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and an interest in process improvement are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage end-to-end accounting and preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS 17 requirements.
2. Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting under IFRS 17.
3. Handle technical accounting matters related to IFRS 17, including interpretation and implementation support.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless IFRS 17 compliance and reporting.
5. Support audits, controls, and process improvements to enhance reporting quality and governance.

Requirements:

1. Qualified CA with 3+ years of experience OR post-qualification (MBA or M.com) in finance with 5+ years of experience.
2. Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in IFRS 17 is mandatory.
3. Strong experience in end-to-end accounting, including financial reporting, preparation of financial statements, P&L, and Balance Sheet.
4. Solid understanding of IFRS standards with strong technical accounting knowledge.
5. Exposure to the insurance sector or financial services, with current insurance company experience preferred.
