Responsibilities

As an Assistant Manager - SOX ITGC, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Leading, coordinating, and executing SOX ITGC testing, compliance, and reporting processes for varied clients.
• Assessing risks within IT systems and ensuring their compliance with SOX frameworks.
• Identifying potential IT deficiencies, risks or gaps, and recommending actions to mitigate them.
• Interacting and coordinating with multiple stakeholders including audit teams, control owners, and senior leaders.
• Preparing detailed processes, risk mappings, and control testing documentation.
• Staying updated on financial services and IT audit regulations to ensure the organization remains in compliance with applicable guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Information Technology, or related field; a Master's is a plus!
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in SOX IT controls, IT compliance, or audit, preferably within financial services.
• Strong expertise in IT general controls, application controls, and IT risk management frameworks.
• Adept at analyzing IT systems, identifying control deficiencies, and navigating regulatory landscapes.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills to work effectively in remote, cross-functional teams.
• Certifications like CISA, CRISC, or equivalent would be an added advantage.
