We are looking for a CSO – Service Manager to drive the successful delivery of Location Strategy and IT Service initiatives, ensuring excellence across planning, budgeting, quality, governance, and risk. This role sits at the heart of digital transformation, shaping resilient, customer-centric technology services while influencing senior stakeholders and leading high-impact outcomes.

Responsibilities –
- Define and execute the strategic direction for IT Services, aligning with organisational goals and modern service management practices.
- Lead and manage IT Services teams, driving performance, efficiency, and delivery against SLAs, controls, and governance standards.
- Own end-to-end incident, problem, and change management, including major incident recovery and stakeholder communication.
- Manage IT Service risk by identifying potential risks, implementing mitigation strategies, and aligning with change and compliance functions.
- Oversee service performance, financial management, cost control, and value realisation from commercial and third-party agreements.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to represent technology service performance and support critical business operations.
- Drive continuous improvement across applications, infrastructure, and digital platforms to minimise disruption and enhance customer experience.
Requirements –
- Strong L2/L3 Application Support experience within an ITIL-driven environment.
- Hands-on experience supporting applications and APIs on OpenShift and AWS, with exposure to DevOps practices.
- Expertise in log analysis, heap dumps, thread dumps, and APM tools such as AppDynamics, Kibana, ITRS, and observability platforms.
- Experience with servers and containers including Tomcat, WebSphere, JBoss, Apache, Nginx, OpenShift, and AWS.
- Ability to debug code-level issues and use scripting languages such as Shell and Python for automation and monitoring.
- Proven capability in managing major incidents, risk, controls, and stakeholder expectations under pressure.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and collaboration skills across development and infrastructure teams.
