Responsibilities
As an Azure Data Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, and deploying **data solutions** using **Azure Databricks** for advanced analytics and data processing.
- Building scalable, robust, and efficient **ETL pipelines** to streamline data flows.
- Collaborating with data scientists and analysts to optimize **data models** for specific business needs.
- Ensuring data security, compliance, and governance across all data systems.
- Troubleshooting and optimizing performance for big data solutions on Azure.
- Maintaining and enhancing data systems by identifying areas of improvement.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in data engineering and analytics.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and its ecosystem.
- Strong expertise in Python/Scala/Spark and their application in big data solutions.
- In-depth understanding of Azure cloud services especially Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure Storage.
- Proficiency in data modeling and developing ETL workflows.
- Knowledge of analytics tools and frameworks.
- A proactive mindset with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
