Summary -

An excellent opportunity for professionals with 3–8 years of experience in credit analysis, financial data analytics, and statistical reporting. This role is ideal for candidates who bring strong expertise in financial ratio analysis, data modelling, regulatory reporting, and rating processes. You will play a pivotal role in driving the rating quality agenda by leveraging statistical tools, advanced Excel, and analytical frameworks to support model validation, post-event reviews, and senior management disclosures.

Responsibilities –

• Lead data analytics initiatives using statistical and advanced Excel tools to support Ratings’ quality agenda.
• Prepare analytical reports including default and transition metrics for regulatory disclosures and senior management presentations.
• Conduct financial ratio analysis and perform post-event reviews for entities that have undergone major rating changes.
• Identify analytical/process gaps and recommend enhancements to strengthen rating quality and governance.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including IT, analytics, and rating teams for project deliverables.
• Draft and update model validation reports as required by internal standards.
• Independently manage and deliver ad hoc projects and analytical tasks.
• Support knowledge management and process improvement initiatives across the team.
• Demonstrate strong ownership, stakeholder coordination, and adherence to deadlines.

Requirements –

• BTech/Engineering Graduate/Diploma in Statistics or MBA (Finance)/CA/CFA (or equivalent).
• 3–8 years of experience in credit risk, risk management, rating analytics, or financial analysis.
• Excellent knowledge of advanced Excel (including macros), statistics, and data analytics tools; working knowledge of R is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to work on large data sets, identify trends, and build models.
• Solid understanding of financial concepts, ratios, and business analysis.
• Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Good understanding of Indian corporate and BFSI sectors, and the broader economic environment.
• Ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional, deadline-driven teams.
• Innovative mindset and a solution-oriented approach.
