Data Analyst Engineer – Tableau/ Qlik dashboards - (5-6 Years)

Responsibilities:
Designing and building complex Tableau / Qlik dashboards spanning a variety of data sets
Performing data quality-control and debugs Tableau / Qlik workbooks
Key contributor to data-best practice education efforts and data visualisation standards across digital solutions
Consulting with business and operations teams to document reporting requirements for large-sized projects and creates design documentation
Working with senior development manager/business analysts/architecture team members understand the requirements and develop solutions.
Working closely with internal customers to define value driven features, design technical solutions and collaborate on end user testing.
Proposing and developing architecture, methods and procedures for the successful implementation of ETL solutions, i.e. requirements documentation, development, testing, implementation strategy and deployment.
Investigating and resolving problems on selected modules and standard implementations.
Learning to apply appropriate tools to analyse, identify, and resolve technical problems.
Maintaining security, integrity, and business continuity controls and documents.
Build knowledge on emerging tools, techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science/Business/Math/Statistics/data science, or similar discipline.
5 to 6 years of experience in application development, Experience in building BI/reporting solutions from inception to delivery in projects
Hands on expertise with SQL/NoSQL databases and data mapping.
Experience in Tableau and Qlik
Experience working with database analysts to develop alternative solutions for meeting complex reporting requirements.
Data analysis expertise (Data
modelling, mapping, formatting and data analysis expertise).
Experience working in Linux server environments
Agile software development, JIRA, Wiki, Crucible
Experience following industry-accepted design standards
Strong debugging and analysis skills using database tools
Ability to work individually in a team and across geographically dispersed teams – A good team player.
