Responsibilities

As a Data Engineer- Azure, your responsibilities will include: 

• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and workflows to ingest, transform, and store data using Azure technologies. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable architecture solutions. 
• Implement and maintain robust ETL processes with a focus on efficiency and infrastructure performance. 
• Ensure data quality, data integrity, and consistency across multiple sources and destinations. 
• Manage and monitor Azure-based data solutions, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and other related tools. 
• Troubleshoot production data issues and provide ongoing support to stakeholders. 
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Azure data services and contribute to the development of best practices.

Requirements

To thrive in this role, you should meet the following criteria: 

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or a related field. 
• Experience: 4-6 years of relevant experience in data engineering and analytics. 
• Proven expertise in Azure data technologies, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, etc. 
• Hands-on experience with programming languages/tools like Python, SQL, and Spark. 
• Strong data modelling and database management skills (SQL and NoSQL). 
• Familiarity with cloud architecture, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset. 
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
