Responsibilities

As a Data Governance Specialist, you will: 

• Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance. 
• Work closely with data stewards to support decision-making processes and maintain data quality. 
• Deploy analytics tools and set standards for data management and security. 
• Provide recommendations on data architecture, classification, and lifecycle management. 
• Manage data governance programs, set KPIs, and produce actionable insights. 
• Raise awareness and educate stakeholders about the importance of data governance across the organization. 

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should have: 

• 5-9 years of experience in Analytics and Data Governance. 
• Strong understanding of data management principles, data quality, and compliance standards. 
• Expertise in analytics tools and platforms such as Tableau, Alteryx, or Power BI. 
• Solid knowledge of data governance frameworks like DAMA-DMBOK or similar. 
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. 
• A degree in Data Science, Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field. 
• Certifications in related data governance or analytics tools will be an advantage.
