Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to ensure the integrity, performance, and security of enterprise databases. This role demands strong expertise in database design, performance tuning, backup & recovery, and cloud database services. The selected candidate will play a critical role in database planning, development, and troubleshooting to support business needs.

Responsibilities:
- Administer, maintain, and secure company databases.
- Monitor and optimize database performance using tuning and disk optimization techniques.
- Implement data models, database designs, and maintenance scripts.
- Resolve database performance, capacity, and replication issues.
- Plan and coordinate data migrations between systems.
- Manage database backups, recovery procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
- Install and test upgrades, patches, and maintain database security.
- Automate database processes using scripts (PowerShell/Python/Bash).
- Support data warehousing and business intelligence initiatives.
- Manage databases in cloud environments (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud SQL).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in database administration, IT, or database architecture.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Expertise in SQL, query optimization, backup, and recovery strategies.
- Experience in performance monitoring, tuning, replication, and high-availability solutions.
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Bash).
- Knowledge of disaster recovery, database security, and user management.
- Familiarity with data warehousing, BI tools, and cloud-based database services.
