Deputy Manager – Learning & Development -9+ years-Pune

An excellent opportunity for an experienced L&D professional with strong exposure to insurance process training! As the Deputy Manager – Learning & Development, you will lead the end-to-end training strategy — from facilitation and content delivery to trainer management and stakeholder engagement. This role is ideal for someone passionate about driving capability building, process excellence, and learning culture within the insurance domain.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct Insurance Domain Training for new hires and lateral joiners.
  2. Deliver Train-the-Trainer (TTT) sessions and manage the Process Trainer Pool across business units.
  3. Facilitate Systems, Workflow, and Business Process Training to ensure seamless learning continuity.
  4. Partner with Operations and Quality teams to track performance improvements and learning outcomes.
  5. Identify training needs (TNA/TNI), track ROI, and maintain accurate reports on all learning initiatives.
  6. Design and implement refresher training programs, ensuring certification and compliance goals are met.

 

Requirements:

  1. Graduate/Postgraduate in HR, Psychology, or related field.
  2. 4–6 years of experience in Learning & Development, with specialization in Insurance Process Training.
  3. Proven expertise in facilitation, behavioral training, and stakeholder management.
  4. Strong communication, team handling experience, analytical, and reporting skills with proficiency in MS Office tools.
  5. Ability to handle multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams.
  6. Proactive learner with adaptability to evolving business and industry needs.
