Financial Crime Analytics - 2+ years – PAN India

Location: PAN India (Mumbai, Gurgaon, Bangalore, Pune)

Summary:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Crime Analytics Analyst/Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Anti Money Laundering (AML) and financial crime prevention. This role requires proficiency in transaction monitoring, customer due diligence, and enhanced due diligence processes, along with experience using leading vendor products and analytical tools. The successful candidate will leverage their skills in SAS, SQL, R, and Python to detect and mitigate financial crime risks, contributing to the integrity and security of financial institutions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct in-depth transaction monitoring to identify and investigate suspicious activities, ensuring compliance with AML regulations.
  2. Perform Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for high-risk clients, conducting thorough risk assessments and documentation.
  3. Utilize AML vendor products such as Fenergo, NICE Actimize, SAS AML, and Quantexa to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial crime investigations.
  4. Develop and implement data-driven models and algorithms using SAS, SQL, R, and Python to detect unusual transaction patterns and potential money laundering activities.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine AML strategies and processes, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  6. Provide insights and recommendations to clients on AML frameworks, regulatory compliance, and risk management strategies.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in financial crime analytics, AML, and transaction monitoring.
  3. Strong knowledge of KYC/CDD/EDD processes and regulatory requirements.
  4. Proficiency in SAS, SQL, R, and Python for data analysis and model development.
  5. Experience with AML tools such as Fenergo, NICE Actimize, SAS AML, and Quantexa.
