Responsibilities -
- Lead reinsurance strategy, placement, analysis, and execution for the assigned portfolio.
- Act as the technical expert in Specialty Structured Markets (SSM) to provide solutions addressing specific client needs.
- Collaborate with underwriting, actuarial, and claims teams to implement risk management strategies effectively.
- Design and implement processes to manage inward and outward reinsurance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor reinsurance treaty performance, identify trends, and suggest areas for improvement.
- Build models and tools to analyze risk exposure and reinsurance arrangements, ensuring adequate coverage.
Requirements -
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Actuarial Science, or a related field (Master’s degree or certifications such as ACII/FCII/FRM will be advantageous).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in reinsurance processes or specialty markets.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a proven ability to handle large datasets.
- Proficiency in reinsurance pricing and underwriting principles; hands-on experience with treaty structures is highly desirable.
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- A proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in high-pressure environments.
