Legal Business Proc Ops – Matter Controller (BA4) - 4 to 5 Yrs. - Noida

We are hiring a Legal Business Proc Ops – Matter Controller to provide end-to-end operational support to the Legal Function, managing Procure-to-Pay (P2P) activities, external third-party spend, legal matters, and portfolios while ensuring compliance with risk, regulatory, and policy frameworks within the Financial Services industry.

Responsibilities -

1. Deliver day-to-day operational support across processing, reviewing, reporting, issue resolution, and stakeholder queries.

2. Manage the complete Procure-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycle for legal matters, including vendor onboarding, invoicing, spend tracking, and portfolio oversight.

3. Partner with internal Legal teams, Procurement, Finance, and external vendors to ensure seamless operational execution.

4. Develop, maintain, and enhance operational controls and procedures to mitigate risks and improve efficiency.

5. Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations, participate in projects beyond BAU, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, enterprise risk frameworks, and internal policies.

Requirements -

1. 4–5 years of experience (flexible by ±1–2 years) in pure Procurement Operations (no sourcing experience, no lawyers).

2. Graduate qualification with strong knowledge of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) operations within the Procurement industry.

3. Experience in Legal Operations supporting lawyers (rate checks, invoice validation, policy violations) will be an added advantage.

4. Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills with proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.

5. Ability to identify, manage, and escalate risks with high ownership, accountability, and time management skills.
