Manager – Site Accounting & Project Commercials - 8 to 10 Yrs - Mumbai

End-to-end responsibility for site accounting and commercial support for project business with focus on billing, collections, audit, compliance, inventory control, stakeholder coordination, and timely financial closure of projects.

Responsibilities –

1. End-to-end site accounting and commercial support including sales invoicing, price variation calculations, billing vs RA reconciliation, working capital tracking, site cash management, and timely financial closure of projects including bank guarantees.

2. Strong focus on collections through customer engagement on billing, collections and tax matters; handling customer and vendor reconciliations including retention, debit/credit notes, vendor bill tracking, payment verification and settlements.

3. Monthly trial balance, P&L and balance sheet scrutiny, bank reconciliations, inventory reconciliation, Pay Direct card controls, site expense validation, GST compliance, and handling statutory and internal audits.

4. Seamless coordination between HO, sites and business teams; planned project reviews with Program Managers covering billing, collections, operational issues, estimated cost/POC, closures, and monthly VC reviews.

5. Process automation and digitization from invoicing to collections, inventory controls across project sites, regular site visits, training and development of site accountants, and leadership of a team of 12–15 members.

Requirements –

1. CA / CMA preferred with 8–10 years of experience in relevant project site industry.

2. Strong experience in project commercial operations and site accounting.

3. Sound knowledge of accounting systems, audit processes, internal controls and GST regulations.

4. Advanced MS Excel skills with strong analytical and reporting capabilities.

5. Proven leadership, stakeholder management, problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
