Summary: We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master with 5–10 years of experience in IT services and software development environments. The role requires strong expertise in Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban, along with hands-on experience using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps. The ideal candidate will be a servant leader who can coach teams, drive continuous improvement, and ensure consistent delivery of business value.

Responsibilities

  1. Facilitating Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives

  2. Removing impediments impacting team progress and escalating issues when required

  3. Coaching teams on Agile principles and ensuring adherence to Scrum framework

  4. Collaborating with Product Owners to refine, prioritize, and manage product backlogs

  5. Tracking and communicating Agile metrics such as velocity and burndown charts to stakeholders

  6. Promoting transparency, continuous improvement, and a culture of collaboration

  7. Shielding teams from external distractions to ensure focus on sprint goals

  8. Mentoring team members and stakeholders on Agile best practices

Requirements

  1. 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in software development environments

  2. Strong industry exposure to IT services, technology, or digital delivery organizations

  3. In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban

  4. Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps

  5. Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, or SAFe Agilist); advanced certifications preferred

  6. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or a related field

  7. Technical background in software development, QA, or DevOps
