Responsibilities

As a Senior Process Analyst, you will:

• Lead the evaluation of IT internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX 404 standards.
• Perform comprehensive testing of IT General Controls (ITGC) for applications, databases, operating systems, and networks.
• Work cross-functionally with IT and finance teams to identify and remediate control deficiencies.
• Prepare detailed documentation to support findings and recommendations.
• Assist in the design and implementation of control improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Stay up to date with evolving regulations and practices in SOX compliance within the financial services industry.
• Provide insights and support internal and external audits with relevant documentation and walkthrough assistance.

Requirements

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• 2+ years of experience in SOX ITGC audits or IT risk/compliance within financial services or related industries.
• A strong understanding of SOX 404 compliance and IT controls (applications, databases, operating systems, and networks).
• Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies and control testing procedures.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams effectively.
• Certifications like CISA, CRISC, or CISSP (preferred but not mandatory).
• Ability to work independently and remotely with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
