Credit Analyst – Leveraged Finance - 1 to 6 Yrs - Mumbai 

1 to 6 years of experience in Credit Analysis, Leveraged Finance, Credit Risk, Financial Modelling, and Underwriting.

Location - Mumbai, Maharashtra, India

Responsibilities -

  1. Work with onshore analysts to cover the Leveraged Finance credit portfolio and prepare quarterly financial spreads and memos.

  2. Conduct ABL portfolio monitoring, including ABL assessment notes and collateral tracking.

  3. Prepare annual opinion-based credit risk reports, detailed credit assessment reports, and evaluate business & financial risk profiles.

  4. Build and update comprehensive financial models with analysis of capital structure, key credit determinants, and long-term projections (up to 7 years).

  5. Recommend internal ratings based on established methodologies while reviewing outputs of junior analysts to ensure high-quality underwriting.

  6. Engage with clients regularly, manage workflows effectively, and provide training to junior team members.

Requirements -

  1. 1 to 6 years of experience in Credit Analysis / Leveraged Finance / Credit Underwriting.

  2. Strong skills in financial statement analysis and financial modelling.

  3. Experience in credit risk assessment, leveraged loans, and capital structure review.

  4. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  5. Education Qualification: MBA, CA.
