Sr. Manager/AVP – Commercial Lines (Techno-Marketing Underwriting) – 7+ Years-Delhi/Pune

An exciting opportunity for professionals with deep expertise in Commercial Lines Underwriting and a flair for techno-marketing. This role combines technical underwriting knowledge with strategic market engagement to drive business growth and proposal conversions. As a Senior Manager/AVP, you will lead underwriting operations, support distribution teams, and enable business development through risk evaluation, product positioning, and client partnerships.

Responsibilities –

  1. Drive the region’s profitability and business growth through effective underwriting and cluster identification.
  2. Evaluate and analyze insurance proposals, assessing risk profiles and structuring suitable coverage, terms, and pricing.
  3. Ensure compliance with company underwriting guidelines and regulatory standards.
  4. Collaborate with product and distribution teams to convert proposals into bound policies and develop new offerings.
  5. Conduct partner training sessions, deliver technical presentations, and maintain strong client and broker relationships.

 

Requirements –

  1. Graduate/Postgraduate in Insurance, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 7 years of experience in commercial lines underwriting, preferably in the insurance sector.
  3. III certification preferred.
  4. Proven experience in techno-marketing or sales enablement within the insurance domain.
  5. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
