Responsibilities
As an Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager – India Accounting & Finance, you will be responsible for:
- Accounting & Reporting: Overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, preparation of financial statements, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and corporate policies.
- Financial Analysis & Planning: Analyzing financial data and providing data-driven insights to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Tax Compliance: Assisting in tax planning, tax filings, and coordinating with external consultants to ensure adherence to statutory requirements.
- Team Collaboration: Partnering with cross-functional teams to align financial objectives with organizational goals.
- Audit & Internal Controls: Supporting internal and external audits, implementing robust internal financial controls, and improving accounting processes.
- Regulatory Adherence: Maintaining compliance with Indian accounting standards (Ind AS), GST, and other statutory regulations.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA in Finance, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in an accounting or finance role with growing responsibilities.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards (Ind AS), taxation laws, and regulatory compliance.
- Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, ERP tools, and MS Excel. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Attributes: High degree of integrity, attention to detail, and an ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
