Area Sales Manager - FMCG/Personal Care - 2+ Years – Lucknow

We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to drive sales for a leading FMCG/Personal Care brand across Central UP.The ideal candidate would be an MBA graduate from a reputed institute, who started their career as a Management Trainee and currently has 1–2 years of experience as an Area Sales Manager in the FMCG/Personal Care segment. Responsibilities

  1. Sales Growth: Lead and drive B2B and B2C sales operations across the Central UP region to meet and exceed sales targets. 
  2. Channel Partner Management: Develop, manage, and strengthen relationships with distributors, retailers, and partners to optimize business potential. 
  3. Market Analysis: Conduct regular market visits to understand customer requirements, competitor activities, and new opportunities. 
  4. Team Leadership: Guide, mentor, and monitor a team of sales representatives, ensuring sharp execution of sales strategies. 
  5. Reporting & Insights: Compile and analyze sales data to create action plans and boost performance in underpenetrated markets. 
  6. Promotional Strategy: Collaborate with marketing teams to plan, implement, and evaluate promotional campaigns effectively.

Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields. 
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B and B2C Sales within the FMCG/Personal Care industry. 
  3. Strong understanding of the Central UP market landscape and consumer preferences. 
  4. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. 
  5. Proven ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve ambitious goals. 
  6. Analytical mindset to gauge sales data and implement datadriven strategies.
