Area Sales Manager - Vending Business – FMCG - 4+ years - Kolkata

We are hiring an Area Sales Manager – Vending Business for a leading FMCG organization to drive sales growth, expand distribution, and strengthen customer relationships across the assigned territory. This is an individual contributor role with team handling responsibility, focused on improving vending machine productivity, distributor performance, and account retention.

Responsibilities

1. Driving territory-level sales plans aligned with revenue and profitability targets
2. Identifying and onboarding new distributors while ensuring compliance with company processes
3. Acquiring new vending business accounts through lead generation, demos, and closures
4. Ensuring high customer retention by monitoring machine uptime and service quality
5. Coordinating with service teams for timely maintenance, issue resolution, and machine redeployment

Requirements

1. Master’s degree (MBA preferred)
2. 4–5 years of experience in vending business or allied sales roles
3. Strong exposure to distributor management and B2B account acquisition
4. Proven ability to independently source and close large corporate accounts
5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
