As an Assistant Manager – Insurance Process, you will be responsible for leading and managing a high-performing insurance/BFSI operations team. This role requires strong leadership, proven international operations exposure, and expertise in delivering process excellence. You will oversee team performance, manage transitions, and ensure smooth onboarding of services while driving operational efficiency in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities
- Operations Leadership: Oversee daily insurance/BFSI process operations, ensuring adherence to SLAs and quality standards.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a team with 1.8+ years to 7 years of people management experience, ensuring performance and engagement.
- Transition & Onboarding: Drive seamless transition and onboarding of new services.
- International Collaboration: Engage with global stakeholders; leverage onshore travel experience where applicable.
- Attrition & Shrinkage Management: Implement strategies to control attrition and shrinkage effectively.
- Process Excellence: Foster continuous improvement and ensure compliance with policies and best practices.
- Shift Management: Work in rotational shifts (morning, afternoon, and night) and manage team schedules accordingly.
Requirements
- Minimum 7+ years of total experience in insurance/BFSI/international operations.
- Currently working as an Assistant Manager (on paper) with 1.8+ years of team handling experience.
- 8–15 years of domain experience with proven leadership in AM/Team Lead/DM roles.
- Strong understanding of insurance processes and relevant certifications/designations preferred.
- Experience managing transitions, onboarding, attrition, and shrinkage.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Comfortable working from office (5 days a week) and in rotational shifts.
