Assistant Manager – Substation-Project Planner-2-8 years- Mumbai
Summary: The Assistant Manager – Planner will spearhead comprehensive project planning and coordination within our Energy Solutions division, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:
Project Planning, Monitoring & Coordination
Develop and maintain detailed project plans aligned with contract specifications.
Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Contracts, Finance, and Site teams for material, manpower, and financial scheduling.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and suppliers to track daily project progress and participate in review meetings.
Stay current on technical standards and taxation updates.
Timely Project Completion
Translate project specifications into realistic timelines and budgets.
Apply Critical Path Method (CPM), resource‑loaded scheduling, progress tracking, and earned‑value analysis to monitor milestones.
Project Management & Quality Assurance
Collaborate with Project Management Consultants (PMC) to resolve technical queries.
Oversee renewals of bank guarantees, insurance policies, and labour licenses.
Implement quality‑control measures to achieve project deliverables.
Risk Assessment & Mitigation
Identify potential project risks and develop robust mitigation plans.
Analyze market trends impacting project execution and costs.
Organizational Initiatives
Champion Kaizen, Business Excellence, and IMS programs.
Support internal and external audits as required.
Manpower Management
Assess and manage actual vs. required workforce at project sites.
Liaise with HR and Project Heads to fulfill manpower needs.
Coordinate with Contracts and Logistics teams to optimize contractual labour deployment.
What We’re Looking For:
Education:
Essential: Degree or Diploma in Engineering
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Experience:
Degree holders: Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience (preferred 4 years)
Diploma holders: Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience (preferred 6 years)
