Responsibilities
As an Azure DevSecOps Specialist, you will:
- Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable cloud-based infrastructures in Azure.
- Establish and enforce DevSecOps best practices while ensuring that security controls are integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
- Work alongside cross-functional teams to build and deploy application infrastructure and optimize analytics pipelines to drive data-backed decision-making.
- Monitor cloud environments and resolve performance or security issues in collaboration with service owners and security teams.
- Automate security checks and continuously monitor for vulnerabilities or compliance gaps.
- Contribute to policy creation, documentation, and training to encourage secure software engineering practices.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in cloud security, DevSecOps methodologies, and analytics integration for improved performance.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will:
- Have **8+ years of experience** in DevOps and cloud-based application architecture, with at least **5 years of hands-on work in Azure environments**.
- Demonstrate expertise in designing and implementing robust **DevSecOps frameworks and CI/CD pipelines**.
- Possess a strong understanding of **analytics tools and platforms** for integrating and optimizing business intelligence pipelines.
- Be proficient in **Azure-specific services** (Azure DevOps, Azure Security Center, Key Vault, Monitor, etc.).
- Exhibit hands-on experience with scripting languages like **Python, PowerShell, Bash**, or similar for automation purposes.
- Be well-versed in infrastructure-as-code tools like **Terraform or Ansible**.
- Hold relevant certifications in Azure or DevSecOps (e.g., **Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer Expert**, etc.).
- Showcase excellent problem-solving and communication abilities, with an enthusiasm for fostering inclusive team dynamics.
