Backend Developer – Java/Spring – 5 to 8 Years – Bangalore (Hybrid)

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Backend Developer to join a high-performing engineering team with a global IT leader. This role offers exposure to complex enterprise-level systems with a strong focus on modern backend technologies and scalable microservices architecture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
  • Build and integrate microservices-based architectures for distributed systems.
  • Collaborate with front-end and DevOps teams to ensure end-to-end application delivery.
  • Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.
  • Work in Agile/Scrum environment, participate in design/code reviews, and contribute to architecture decisions.
  • Implement secure coding practices and ensure compliance with data privacy protocols.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring, Spring Boot.
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
  • Good command over data structures and algorithms (DSA).
  • Experience in Angular is preferred.
  • Exposure to FIX (Financial Information Exchange) protocol is a plus.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid setup.
