Fixed Income Index Manager – Investment Management – Mumbai

Summary –
An exciting opportunity to join a leading financial intelligence and research team, specializing in equity index computation, mutual fund products, and passive investments. This role involves end-to-end index management, research, and development of innovative index solutions tailored for investment products.

Responsibilities –

  1. Launching innovative and replicable indices for index funds and ETFs

  2. Performing daily index computation, reconstitution, and rebalancing

  3. Presenting new product ideas and insights to client product and investment teams

  4. Tracking global best practices in passive investing and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards

  5. Preparing high-quality analytical reports for senior leadership and external agencies

Requirements –

  1. 6 to 12 years of experience in equity index computation, mutual funds, or similar domains

  2. Strong understanding of index mathematics, corporate actions, and equity market functioning

  3. Familiarity with passive investment vehicles like mutual funds, AIFs, PMS, or insurance

  4. Strong analytical and presentation skills

  5. Knowledge of coding languages would be a plus
