Quality Head - Process Transformation | Lean Six Sigma | US Healthcare/Insurance - 15 Years - Pune/Bangalore - Manager/Sr. Manager

Summary: We are seeking an experienced Quality Head to lead and implement strategic Quality Assurance initiatives for a global insurance and healthcare services provider. This role will focus on building a culture of quality, process improvement, and operational transformation using Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven methodologies while managing a large and diverse team.

Location: Pune, Bangalore

Responsibilities:

  1. Build a strong culture of Quality, define QA strategies and ensure adherence to global quality standards.

  2. Identify high-impact areas for improvement and provide strategic direction and thought leadership.

  3. Drive “Quality DNA” through training, certification, and productivity-enhancing initiatives.

  4. Analyze operational data to present key trends and metrics in executive dashboards.

  5. Enable structured problem-solving and data-driven decision-making across programs.

  6. Deploy effective process implementation mechanisms and benchmark periodically.

  7. Utilize analytics to identify inefficiencies and prioritize risk-mitigation projects.

  8. Track daily/weekly operational anomalies and offer actionable insights to leadership.

  9. Assess initiative effectiveness and provide improvement recommendations.

  10. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  1. Graduate in any discipline; Postgraduate preferred.

  2. Lean Certified and Six Sigma Black Belt required; Master Black Belt preferred.

  3. 15+ years of total experience; minimum 6–8 years in US Healthcare, Insurance, F&A, or Casualty & Liability.

  4. Hands-on experience managing 80–100 member teams.

  5. Exposure to process documentation, stakeholder engagement, and transformation programs.
