Responsibilities

As the Manager - Actuarial Hiring, you will:

  • Lead and implement strategies for attracting, hiring, and retaining top actuarial professionals.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders to understand talent needs and define job requirements.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, negotiating offers, and onboarding.
  • Partner with external agencies and leverage online platforms for a diverse candidate pipeline.
  • Drive employer branding initiatives to position the organization as a top employer for actuarial professionals.
  • Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with academic institutions and actuarial networks.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to improve recruitment strategies and continuously refine hiring processes.
  • Ensure compliance with hiring policies and practices, with a strong emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should bring:

  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in talent acquisition, with a strong emphasis on actuarial recruitment(analytics, CAT modelling etc).
  • Proven expertise in managing end-to-end hiring for senior and niche roles.
  • Familiarity with the actuarial profession and understanding of technical actuarial qualifications and memberships.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across levels.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented approach to challenges.
