Responsibilities:

1. Overseeing the financial controllership function.
2. Financial accounting and reporting as per USGAAP/ I GAAP for EXL Legal entities.
3. Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
4. Monitoring and analyzing financial performance.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
6. Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
7. Coordinate internal and external audits, addressing any findings and implementing corrective actions.

Requirements:

1. Experienced Chartered Accountant with proven experience in financial controllership, accounting, or audit roles.
2. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
3. Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
5. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software.
